adly, the time has come that we all hate – closing weekend. That means that both winter and Christmas are just around the corner – crazy!!!
As with other years, the campground officially closes at 5:00pm this Sunday. After that we will begin our fall close up procedures and begin working on projects that were not able to be completed during the season while campers are on site. From Sunday through to a projected date of December 15th, 2024 the campground will be completely closed with no access to campers – except for those helping to close up and / or with the projects that are being worked on.
Please do not ask as there are no exceptions to this closure period as it is mandated by the regulations for Seasonal Campgrounds in Ontario and we don’t need any further problems with the governing authorities. That being said, although we are still negotiating for permission, we are hopeful that we will be able to open for occasional use / access through the winter season as we have in the past however, we are not sure what restrictions may be in place if this is approved. We will keep you updated on the status as we learn more.
